In 2015, a team of young adventurers started Playbrush with the aim of inspiring children to brush their teeth by making it fun.

Since then, the start-up company has become the innovation leader in Oral Care in Europe and beyond, not only fostering proper dental hygiene for children, but also for families and adults.
The concept that they devised was called Playbrush, an interactive smart toothbrush that connects via Bluetooth to a smartphone or tablet.

It was initially launched as a children’s product so children can play fun games with their own toothbrushing movements, collecting rewards and detailed feedback with every brush. In 2019 Playbrush will launch the Playbrush Smart One, giving it the enviable position of providing smart toothbrushing solutions for the whole family.

So far Playbrush has received seven digits investments and closed partnerships with several multinationals, who are enthusiastic about the “Connected Health” trend. Playbrush has also won numerous awards like the Health Media Award in 2016 and the Gamification World Award 2015 in the “Best Technological Innovation” category, which reflect the success of the young company. 4 years since being founded, the team is now 25 employees strong and has sold 250,000 Playbrushes across 25 countries.

Senior Product Manager (m/f/x), full-time, London or Vienna

Playbrush is the innovation leader in smart Oral Care in Europe and beyond.

The concept that stands at the core of what we do is called “Playbrush”, like our brand: an interactive smart toothbrush that connects via Bluetooth to a smartphone or tablet. Children can control mobile games with their toothbrush, and consequently get better at toothbrushing. Adults also interact and receive smart feedback via the toothbrush, so they can improve their brushing performance.

We are now looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Product Manager to join our team in London or Vienna.

Responsibilities
Ownership of Playbrush product roadmap (hardware & software) 

Coordination of multiple teams including software development (frontend and backend), as well as hardware (product development, supply chain) and customer support

Cross-company communication of product roadmap to foster visibility and transparency, especially for customer facing departments (marketing & sales) 

Manage retention and other product KPIs via prioritization of product roadmap and new feature / new product development 

Engage with customer support, marketing and sales to incorporate direct user research and feedback into the product roadmap.

Requirements
5+ years experience in a high growth start up, consumer company or consulting business

Demonstrated product responsibility including KPI management and managing teams

Technical degree from a recognized university

Familiar with Scrum and/or other agile product development methodologies

Organised and diligent personality

Proficiency in English and German

Software Developer (m/f/x), full-time, London

We are now looking for an experienced and ambitious Software Developer to join our team in London.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for creating and supporting software products on the Playbrush platform.


You will be responsible for the Playbrush backend which includes services that interact with Playbrush customer data. In particular, you will be responsible for maintaining and extending Playbrush’s API which supports Playbrush’s internal and external applications.


You will also be responsible for data analytics for both internal and external customers.


You work closely with our other developers within Playbrush and our integration partners who depend on your service.


You will be working both in teams and independently. You will have to identify and solve problems effectively and 
efficiently on your own.

Requirements

3+ years’ experience in building software products both independently and in teams.


Strong Proficiency in Python Programming and experience of creating RESTful APIs


Experience building services in the cloud using AWS


Previous experience with data analytics is highly desirable.


Experience with no-SQL databases (MongoDB)


Able to work as a  part of an agile team in a dynamic startup 


Able to work legally in the UK

UI/UX Designer & Researcher, fulltime, London or Vienna

Now we are looking for an experienced and ambitious UI/UX Designer to own user research and UI/X design end-to-end for web and mobile apps to join our team in London or Vienna.

Responsibilities

● Ability to lead and ideate products from scratch and improve features for web and apps within a user-centered design process

● Create consistent user flows across all touchpoints, wireframes and UI designs to support agile development teams

● Conduct user research through interviews, field visits and usability studies 

● Support the product team in strategic product development decisions based on your user research 

● Work in an agile environment with cross functional teams

● Ensure design consistency across all platforms (web & mobile apps)

● Regular UX analysis and improvements of our customer experience  

Requirements 

● 3+ years professional experience in the field of UX, usability & information architecture 

● Experience with design and concept software tools (e.g. Sketch, Invision, Figma) to create user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes and customer journeys

● Ability to design and conduct user research like usability tests

● Skills in communicating and influencing product design strategy

● Self-driven, organised and diligent personality

● Proficiency in German and English. Please note that we can only consider candidates that speak German on a native speaker level.
